Jack L. Hemling

Jack Leroy Hemling,age 74, of Havre De Grace MD passed away in his home on October 7,2022. Born in Abingdon, MD, he was the son of Roland and Jennie Hemling. He attended Edgewood High School. Jack joined the Army in 1969 serving in Vietnam as an Artillery Specialist where he received several accommodations. Upon his discharge from the Army he went to work at Lock joint pipe and cement company where he retired after 38 years as a welder. Predeceasing him was his son Jay Anthony Hemling, three brothers, Roland, Paul and Daniel Hemling as well as his sister, Lillian. Jack is survived by his wife of forty one years, Mary White Hemling, his daughter, Jenny (Hemling) Donaldson and her husband, Thomas Donaldson of Havre De Grace, also his two Granddaughters, Serenity and Lexilee Donaldson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jack loved children. He and his wife were Foster Parents for several years. He loved hunting, fishing and fixing up the family home.
