Robert Lockman, III

Robert Lockman, III passed away at his home in Aberdeen on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

He was 85.

Born in Baltimore City, MD he was the son of the late Robert and Lillian (Burns) Lockman, II and husband of the late Allice Ann Lockman who passed in 2011.

An Army National Guard veteran, Mr. Lockman served his country during the Bay of Pigs. He was a member of the UAW, American Legion Post 128, the Dundalk VFW and the Havre de Grace Elks. He retired from General Motors where he worked in the paint and repair division. He is survived by his son, Robert “Bobby” J. Lockman of Aberdeen and daughter Geraldine Triplett of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Kenneth Robert Lewis Triplett, Terry Allen Triplett, II and Angel Ann Triplett and his great grandson, Mark Rodriguez.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home where a funeral service is scheduled to begin at 6:00pm. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 7 at 10:00 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Dundalk, MD.
