Obituary
Jack L. Childress passed away at his home in Aberdeen on Wednesday, September, 21. He was 73.
Born in Havre de Grace, MD he was the son of the late Ray S. & Ruth M. (Houck) Childress.
A member of Hopewell United Methodist Church, Mr. Childress retired from Miller Environmental Inc. in Reading, PA as their water and waste water plant operator.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen I. (DuBree) Childress; son Robert S. Childress and girlfriend Amy Gable of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Sarah and Selena; great grandchildren, Syrus and Raven and his brothers, David, Edward and Glenn Childress. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Timothy L. Childress in 1987.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24 from 10-11am at Hopewell United Methodist Church where a funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, September 27 at 10:00am
