Grady Gilbert Bedwell

Grady Bedwell, 73, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away November 24, 2022, at Laurelwood Care Center in Elkton, MD following an extended illness.

Born in Jefferson Twp, Ashe County, NC, Grady was the son of the late Gilbert O. And Lorene Bedwell. He was employed as a building engineer for Harford County Public Schools, and prior to that was employed by Coastal Trailers. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, earned his GED and was a huge Ravens fan. He will be remembered as a man devoted to his family.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Patsy Bedwell, a daughter Angela Baczeski (Donald) of Havre de Grace; stepchildren Doug Edwards of Elkton, Shawn Fisher (Deborah Ewart) of Havre de Grace, and Theresa Jordan (Randy) of Havre de Grace; a brother Gilbert Bedwell; two grandchildren, Rylee McNamara and Siarrah Bedwell, as well a numerous step grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Bedwell and his first wife Linda Bedwell.

Graveside services will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery in Havre de Grace on Wednesday November 30, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Oak Grove Baptist Church Food Pantry.
