I have known Hank for 30 + years. We were coworkers at BGE. He spent many years at, BGE’s training unit where he had a “Positive” impact on our training unit as well as our new employees. He was highly respected by his peers and our trainees, and he could always be counted-on to complete all assignments, Safely. However, he was more than a coworker to me. I’m very proud to say, he was my friend! He was someone that I shared personal information with and I would seek his guidance. After, leaving BGE, we continued to stay in touch. A couple year ago, my son was struggling with a serious health issue. I shared that information with Hank and he helped me with beautiful words of faith and pray! He told me, not to worry things will with out. The good “Lord will not give you more than you can carry.” Although, Hank’s earthly duties are now complete, I’m sure he is already working hard and steady in heaven, just like he did here on earth. Thanks for all your guidance & your friendship. I will miss You, “My Friend.” Joe Finzel

I have so many fond memories of him and this family! I was so fortunate to be best friends with Heni and spend so many days/ nights at their home. My favorite memory was of the time Heni was at the ocean and Hank drove me down so I could spend the summer with them. I was maybe 14 at the time, he asked me before we left if I had to pee because in no way was he stopping! Of course I did not believe him nor did I have to at that time. Not to long into the road trip of course I had to use the bathroom…. He tortured the hell out of me!! He hit every pot hole, slurped his drink, made jokes to get me to laugh and talked about water the whole time! He tried so hard to make me pee myself!! He said he wouldn’t stop and he did not stop! I made it just in time! I still see him laughing his ass off at me!! He always had a smile on his face and a joke. He could make anyone smile! I’m going to miss you “ daddy Hank” Thanks for so many great memories and treating me like I was the “ other child”!!❤️
