Obituary

Born in Lebanon, PA, on January 8, 1928, Rose was the daughter of the late Edwin Leroy and Florence Alberta (Wenrich) Feeman. She was a retired secretary for the registrar of Harford Community College and enjoyed working there while earning her AA degree. She was a longtime member and very active in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Rose was a Sunday school teacher at the church for over 60 years, as well as a member of the Women’s Group, Martha’s Meals, and FISH. She also was a Girl Scout leader and ran the church Youth Group for many years.

Reading, gardening, and watching game shows were some of her favorite hobbies. She also enjoyed games and puzzles of all kinds. She and her husband spent many happy years going to the beach and traveling. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her brother, George F. Feeman (Ruby) of Michigan; 3 sons, Edwin W. Hunsicker (Christine) of Elkton, Scott A. Hunsicker (Peggy) of Selbyville, and Daniel C. Hunsicker (Janice) of Kingsville; a daughter, Susan A. Curry of Aberdeen; and 8 grandchildren, Jacqueline, Robert, Erik, Alison, Kate, Paul, Shannon, John.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Hunsicker; son, R. Michael Hunsicker; and 7 brothers and sisters.

A private visitation and funeral will be held for her family. A public memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 201 Mt. Royal Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21001.

I am so sorry to hear that Rose has passed! I always her big smile, and her bubbly conversation! I saw her for many years at the mother/daughter banquet, with Susan and Shannon. She spent many years with Thelma Gross and my grandmother, Ruth Morlok, serving Christ through the people at Martha’s Meal. I am sure she is enjoying her rest now, and was met by her Savior, with open arms.

We, children of Rose's brother Jim & June, have so many fond memories of our 'Aunt Honey' - especially all those wonderful Sunday afternoons at Aunt Mary & Uncle Paul's with all the families - picturing Aunt Honey laughing, talking, cooking with our Mother & Aunt Mary. Aunt Honey was such a sweet soul! All our love & deepest sympathy, Jane, Joan & John
