Brian Lee Burkins of Aberdeen died March 15, 2000, at University of Maryland Hospital. He was 22. Mr. Burkins was a painter at Old Line Plastics in Forest Hill, Maryland. Mr. Burkins is survived by his mother and stepfather, Karen E. Blevins Lopes and John F. Lopes of Aberdeen; father and stepmother, Franklin W. Burkins, Jr., and Lessie R. Hinnant Burkins of White Marsh; a fiancé, Dusty Kozlowski, a son, Austin J. Kozlowski of Forest Hill; a sister, Kierston N. Burkins of White Marsh; paternal grandparent, Norma M. Burkins of Aberdeen; maternal grandparents, Nona C. Blevins of Aberdeen and Kenneth W. Blevins of Clearwater, FL, and a maternal great-great-grandmother, Ella Blevins of Clearwater, FL. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Franklin Burkins, Sr., in 1998. The viewing will be held 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm today (March 17th) at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home in Aberdeen. Funeral services will be held 11 am on Saturday (March 18th) at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph F. Condro officiating. Interment will be at the Harford Memorial Gardens.
