Paul Edward Johnson, Jr. of Conowingo passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Sterling Care Riverside. He was 71.
Born in Havre de Grace, MD he was the son of Faylaine (Piper) Ortega and the late Paul E. Johnson, Sr. and husband of the late Grace Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a utility foreman for Paul’s Utility, Inc. located in Forest Hill, MD. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, banjo picking, and loved Blue Grass music.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his siblings, Harry D, Johnson, Mary Jean Hall and Anita Faye Ortega.

so sorry we were not there for your last days. we love you and thought of you everyday since mom died. Q: What will you never forget about Paul?
A: Paul was an amazing man. Even though he didn't have children or grandchildren of his own, he treated me like his granddaughter. I used to be over with him and my grandmother Grace, tons of weekends when I was younger. We had so much fun with movies, the four wheeler, banjo music, hanging out at the shed and while he was able, he tried to teach me a few things with his banjo. He would come to our events and cookouts and sit and relax with a budweiser, and his jokes were always funny. I haven't been able to see him since my grandmother passed, but I hope he's with her now and they're happy.
