Myrtle M. Phillips

Myrtle M. Phillips of Havre de Grace, MD died April 3rd at Harford Memorial Hospital. She was 92 years old. Born December 28, 1911 in Pulaski, VA she was the daughter of the late George W. Jones and Laura A. Graylee Jones. She was married to the late Lloyd D. Phillips and has been a resident of Havre de Grace since April 1934. She was a homemaker that loved cooking and children. She always had friends, Neighbors and children at her table in her home. Predeceased by a daughter, Dorothy G. Lamb, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Betty A. & James H. Shipley, Jr. A son and daughter-in-law Llyod D. &Linda Phillips, Jr. A son & daughter-in-law Harry E. & Joann Phillips.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren. Services were held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. April 6th at 10:00AM. Viewing was from 7-9PM April 5th. The pallbearers were Kevin Sorrick, Tommy Burdsall, Kyle Mayfield, Shawn Mayfield, Paul Wheeler and Mark Timms.
