Cal, you are truly missed, you know that. I can't believe I won't hear "Hi Buddy!!" on the other end of the phone anymore. I won't get those thoughtful e-mails, telling me to smile. I promise I will still smile when I think of you, just give me some time. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and encouraging words over the past 5 years. You have truly touched my life and I won't forget you. Oh yeah, I had that Bud Lite for you last night. :)

Cal was so very special to many of us at Military and Civilian Federal Credit Union. He was not just a member but a friend as well. We all enjoyed his phone calls to let us know how he was doing. Christmas time was especially wonderful. Each year he sent poinsettias to several of us at the credit union. He always made sure to tell me to put ice cubes in the dirt to keep it moist so not to overwater it! We will miss him sorely. Our condolences to his family. Love, Billie

Cal was a very wonderful man and was always very nice to me and everyone he talked to. He had a way of touching your life and making it a better day when he called. I will miss him very much, and his calls, and emails.

I only knew Cal for about 1 year. I met him when I started working at MAC Federal Credit Union here in Alaska as the information cordinator. He would call and you knew it was him by his voice, he was always so friendly and loved his girls up here in Fairbanks and we all loved him. He always managed to brighten up our day. He will be sadly missed around here. I am sure everyone who met Cal either in person or just over the phone knew he was a special person. We will miss him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. Corrinna

Although I never got a chance to meet him face to face, our conversations over the phone would always make my day. He would always call to speak to Heather Morgan and chat with me for a little while and tell me to make sure I send out an email letting everyone know that he said hello. He will be missed here at MACFCU.
