Gary William Spies

Gary William Speis, 48, of Aberdeen, died at home on May 10th. He was born and raised in Aberdeen, MD. He graduated in 1974 from Aberdeen High School. He was the son of William J. and Violet J. Spies of Aberdeen. He is survived by his son Bryan Spies of Aberdeen and his daughter Sarah, also of Aberdeen. In addition to his children and parents he is survived by his brother Ronald Spies of Jacksonville, FL and his two sisters, Anita Spies of Aberdeen and Cindy Alley of Forest Hill. Gary was a very caring and hard working person. He loved playing music and enjoyed his summertime gardening. He will be deeply missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 14th at 9:00am at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. A viewing will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
