George F. Gearin, Jr.

George F. Gearin, Jr. of Elizabethtown, KY, a former resident of Aberdeen, died July 7 at his home, He was 75. Born in Dorchester, Mass., he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Atkinson) Gearin. He was the husband of Suzzanne Myler Gearin. He was a retired welder/fabricator at APG. He served in the Coast Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post 128. In addition to his wife, Mr. Gearin is survived by sons George "Daniel" Gearin of Joshua Tree, CA and Steve Gearin of Riverside; daughters Linda Sullivan of Aberdeen and Danieele Prevost of Rineyville, KY; a brother Timothy Gearin of Billerica, Mass.; a sister Joan McGuire of Marshfield, Mass.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial was held July 13 at St. Patrick's Catholic Churc in Havre de Grace officaiated by Father William O'Brien. Interment was in Baker Cemetery.
