Anna J. Peck

Anna J. (McGonigle) Peck of Havre de Grace, MD died at home on Thursday, June 17, 2004 after a long illness. Born on June 26, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of James W. and Ida M. (Parkinson) McGonigle. Ms. Peck was an active member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church which included her being a volunteer and assistant at the office of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, also she was on the bereavement committee for the church, she also assisted in the Bingo at the church and she became a eucaristic minister to visit the sick, she also became involved in other causes for different churches such as Martha's Meal for the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, Grace's Place for the Grace United Methodist Church. She loved volunteering her time and no task was too great for her to help others. She had worked for 30 years at Oscar Meyer Plant as a meat packer, in Philadelphia. Ms. Peck is survived by her daughters Jacqueline Ward and her husband, Pat, of Havre de Grace and Carole Anne Frese of Downingtown, PA. Also survived by her grandchildren Kevin and Mark Mitchell of Downingtown, PA and sean and Liam Ward of Havre de Grace.
