Although I had not spoken to Eric in many years, there are still fond memories that were born because of him. Our prayers are with his family and friends.

e. (as we in the White Room knew him) had a vision for a forum where like-minded people could share ideas and debate minutae. The White Room quickly became more. It was like going over to a friend's house every day. e. was a big part of why it succeeded. Our friendship grew out of our varied discussions on-line. Within months I called him friend, and he in return. He offered me sage advice when I needed it and taught me never to take myself or anyone too seriously. His mission in life, it seemed, was to lighten things up, have some fun, and enjoy what is instead of worrying about what isn't. e. never thought his life was perfect. He shared with me aspirations he had for the future. I'm dismayed to know that he will never meet his potential. I hope e. has found the peace and harmony he so desperately sought after in life. I'll miss him.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Eric, but I feel that, in some way, I knew him. He was an amazingly intelligent, loving, witty soul with an inspiring sense of humour. I cannot believe he is gone. I wish we could have met and sat down and talked in person. I miss him dearly and hope that one day, somewhere, we will meet for the first time.

I never had the joy of meeting Eric in person, but online he made me feel accepted. He knew the right words to say to me so that I knew he was a friend. Not many people in this world can do that. I will always miss you, e., and I will ALWAYS remember your friendship. You were a very, very special person and the world is a little sadder without you. ~Sara<3

I first got to know Eric from the Aint IT Cool News website and later followed him to The White Room,a board created by him and several others. Eric was a knid, creative soul and I am sorry that he left this world much too soon but am glad that I got the chance to know him,not only online but in the real world as well. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
