Dora Ruth Heizer

Dora Ruth Heizer of Bel Air, died February 4 at Mariner at Bel Air. She was 92. Born in West Jefferson, NC she was the daughter of the late Elihu and Etter (Lewis) Roland. She was the wife of the late William Earl Heizer. Mrs. Heizer was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, bingo and crafts. She is survived by her children, Donald Heizer and wife Patricia, Linda Grimm and Joyce Born. Her sisters Louise Pruitt, Edith Comer, Virginia Witkowski, Mildren Austin, Dana Kilby. Grandchildren, Donald Born, Carol Little, Becky Kropkowski, Adam Grimm and Sara Mathis and great grandchildren, Christopher and Candace Born, Jessica and Victoria Cannizzaro and Emily Ruth Kropkowski. She was predeased by a grandson William Born, a brother James Roland, and sisters Hazel Bettinger and Fae Mitchell. Friends may call at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral services officiated by Rev. Joseph Condro will be held at Churchville Presbyterian Church on Tuesday at 11:00am. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
