I don’t remember anything specific. Everyday at work Jon filled the cavernous super garage space where we worked in Quantico with his huge heart. He was always volunteering his services, food, place, you name it to help out on or off the job. So much so that it was somewhat off putting at first; but, I grew to appreciate greatly him soon enough. He was tremendously knowledgeable about the subject and was nonpareil UAS pilot. I’m glad to have known him and call him friend.

I could talk about how much he’s changed my life all day, he was the best uncle anyone could ask for, and I never thought that one day we’d be planing his funeral. Words can’t describe how much I miss him. May he rest in peace🕊️

I met Jon around 2015 in Afghanistan. Really great guy on a similar path. When he found out I was dealing with some major stomach issues that were debilitating(30lb weight loss, inability to process nutrients), he gave me a remedy he stumbled across when he went through his stomach cancer. I started taking iron and potassium supplements, and it miraculously helped me get rid of all my issues! I owe him more than anyone could imagine for that! I did get to tell him how it helped me, but I'll always be thankful for his advice.
