I receive the Record newspaper by mail. June 24th issue arrived today July 7th. I was saddened to see Bill's obit. Bill and I were in high school together. As I recall a group (6 or so) sat together at the lunch table for several years. Unfortunatly after school we (I) lose touch. I remember his quick laugh and sense of humor. I am sorry for your loss.

I was thinking today about Bill Fletcher, I don’t know why but I worked with Bill for a number of years at Teledyne in Northridge California. He was a great guy! He was professional and could be funny as well, it was such a pleasure to work along side him as a colleague. He was a family man and he obviously loved his family! Unfortunately Bill and I were laid off our jobs together when our Teledyne company was sold to Litton in 1994 and we lost contact with each other! Bill left a very good impression on me as a human being! God bless Bill and his wife and children! Craig Whittaker 310-947-1556
