Charles Hugh Lewis

Charles Hugh Lewis, of Aberdeen, died at his home on June 27. He was 77. Born in Tazewell, Va he was the son of the late Willie R. and Eliza (Davis) Lewis and the husband of the late Captola Harrison Lewis. He had retired from the Bata Shoe Company and the Harford County Public Schools. He loved gardening. Mr. Lewis is survived by his two sons Robert Lewis and his wife Susan, and Rodney Lewis, a daughter Diana Keys and her husband Garry, two brothers Jim and Willie Lewis, Jr., four grandchildren, Brandon and Justin Keys and Becky and Melissa Lewis and one step grand child Susan Leiser. In addition to his wife and parents Mr. Lewis was predeceased by a son Charles Lewis, Jr., brothers George, Sammy, Ward, and Jeff Lewis and sisters Edna Caudill and Lou Rudd. Friends may call the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on June 30 from 2-4 and 7-9pm where funeral services conducted by Rev. Harold Hubble will be held on July 1 at 1:30pm.
