Joseph M. Puskarich, Jr.

Joseph "Joey" M. Puskarich, Jr. of Aberdeen died June 28, 2005 at Millenium Franklin Square Nursing Center in Baltimore. He was 46. Born July 23, 1958 in Aberdeen, He was the son of the late Asta Ritson and Joseph M. Puskarich, Sr. Mr. Puskarich was a 1979 graduate of John Archer School, after which he became associated with the ARC. There he established lifetime relationships with his peers and administrative personnel. The ARC was instrumental in placing him with McCormick Co., Aramark Food Services and Pizza Hut. Always happy and congenial, he loved dancing, bowling and participating in the Special Olympics, in which he won many awards. His greatest passion was for the Baltimore Orioles, for whom he was always a loyal fan. Family said he led a good life and was truly loved by family and friends. Mr. Puskarich is survived by his special friend, Carol Lootens of Aberdeen; a half-brother, T. Pete Oiderma of Novado, CA; a sister-in-law, Ladda Puskarich of Aberdeen; four nieces, Jennifer Young of Hawaii, Asta Nixon of Belcamp and Angela and Crystal Puskarich of Aberdeen; five grand-nephews and one grand-niece. In addition to his parents, Mr. Puskarich was predeceased by Thomas Olaf and John Daniel Puskarich. Friends and Family may call July 7 from 7 to 9 PM at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. Funeral Services will be held July 8 at 9:30 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with Father Sam Young officiating. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen.
