My deepest condolences to the Coppersmith family and to the City of Aberdeen. Walter was a jewel among stones. I worked with Walter on the Appearance and Preservation Committee for several years. I was able to also work with him on The Christmas Street Parades. So many happy memories! He was a kind, wonderful man that dearly loved his family. He loved his volunteering, too. Rest well Friend. Not many folks leave such a wonderful mark on this Earth like you have.

I had the great pleasure of living next to Jeannette and Walter. Two of the sweetest folks, I've been blessed to know. IF the world were filled with more Walters, what a wonderful place it would be. Our prayers are with you Jeannette and Franklin. God has called a good and wonderful son to his side. Jeanette Curry
