Frances Tripoli

Frances Tripoli of Aberdeen died Aug. 3 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace. She was 83. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Onofrio and Rose Alfonso Failla and was the wife of the late George Tripoli. Mrs. Tripoli was a homemaker who had worked at Havre de Grace High School in the cafeteria for some years. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and she loved cooking for family and friends. Mrs. Tripoli is survived by her son, John Tripoli and his wife, Cathy, of Aberdeen; her daughters, Rosemary Robinson and her husband, Jim, of Laurel, and Elizabeth Jennings and her husband, Michael, of Knoxville, Tenn.; her grandchildred, Sherry Jennings-King and Christina Harrison, both of Minneapolis, Minn., Sara Robinson of New York City, PFC James Robinson of Camp Pendleton, CA., and Joshua Tripoli and Ryan Tripoli, both of Havre de Grace; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be Aug. 6 at 3PM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 257 S. Law Street in Aberdeen, with FAther Sam Young officiating. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Tripoli to the Parish Nurse Program at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 257 S. Law Street, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
