Esther B. Brinegar

Esther B. Brinegar, a former Bata Shoe employee, died Jan. 30 at Harford Memorial Hospital. The Havre de Grace resident was 92. Born in Troutdale, VA, she was the daughter of the late Grover C. and Martha Lou Ennice Blevins Bell. She was married to the late Payton Jones Sr. Mrs. Brinegar retired from Bata Shoe Co. in Belcamp, where she worked on the assembly line. She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Aberdeen. Mr. Brinegar is survived by two sons, Payton Jones, Jr. and Ronnie L. Jones; three daughters Barbara Perry, Betty Canter, and Bonnie Hammons; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was predeased by a son, Jack Jones, who died in 1985. The viewing will be from 10-12pm February 3 at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home with funeral services conducted by Rev.
