Delra Mitcham

Delra K. Mitcham, 80, of North East, MD, formerly of Havre de Grace, MD, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006. Born in Colora, she was a daughter of the late Roscoe and Eula Mae Blevins Kilby. Mrs. Mitcham had been employed as a secretary at Ft. Holibird and Aberdeen Proving Ground. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Aberdeen. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mitcham was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Eugene Mitcham. Survivors include her daughters, Donya Mitcham-Mostell and husband, Dennis of Bradenton, FL, and Drinda Jones and husband, Robert of North East, MD; grandchildren, Brett and wife, Jamie Jones of North East, MD, and Sean and wife, Tracy Jones of Elk Mills, MD; great-grandchildren, Hunter Jones of Elk Mills, MD, Hailey Jones, Kaitlyn Pritchard, and Tyler Pritchard, all of North East, MD, and Brandon Windell and Brittany Eldreth, both of Elk Mills, MD; brothers, Tom Kilby of Conowingo, MD, and Bill Kilby of Aberdeen, MD; sisters, Beatrice Short of Pensacola, FL, Elizabeth Kilby and Mabel Kilby, both of Starke, FL. Viewing will be held Monday, March 13, 6-8 PM, at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A., 333 South Parke Street, Aberdeen, MD 21001, and Tuesday 12:30 – 1:00 PM, at Bible Baptist Church, 41 Mitchell Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21001. Services will be held Tuesday, March 14, 1:00 PM, at Bible Baptist Church. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD. Pallbearers, Brett Jones, Sean Jones, Robert Miller, Tom Kilby, Jr., Tim Kilby and Sam Kilby. Honorary Pallbearers, Hunter Jones and Brandon Windell. Pastor Ben Cordle will officiate.
