Juanita Wheeler

Juanita Wheeler of Essex passed away on Friday, August 4 at Autumn Lake @ Riverview. She was 98.

Born in Mississippi she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Bertha (Beach) Dobson and wife of the late Leroy Wheeler.

A homemaker, Juanita lived most of her life in the Fells Point neighborhood of Baltimore. She was an avid bingo/shuffleboard player. Juanita enjoyed spending time listening to Johnny and June-Carter Cash and polka music. At 98, Juanita was feisty as ever.

She is survived by her son, Roy Wheeler and his wife Diane of Dundalk; grandchildren, Ashlee Wheeler of Havre de Grace, Britnee Wheeler of Abingdon, Roy Wheeler, II of Aberdeen and Matthew Wheeler of Bel Air; great grandchildren; Braylen, Maloree, Cody and Harper. In addition, step-grandchildren Gregory Rzepinnik of Perry Hall and Stephanie Noratel of Hanover and 6 step-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 11 from 4pm-6pm at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home.
