Vera E. Bartlett-Deskiewicz

Vera Elaine Bartlett-Deskiewicz of Aberdeen died July 30. She was 88.<br> Born in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Victor Bartlett and Mabel Chase-Bartlett.<br> Mrs. Deskiewicz was retired from Harford County Public Schools as a teacher's aide. She was a member of Grove Presbyteria Church, where she served as an elder and was a member of the prayer group. She was an avid reader.<br> Mrs. deskiewicz is survived by a son, Dennis T. Deskiewicz of Aptus, California; three daughters, Penelope Sipes of New Freedom, Pa., Priscilla E. Woodward of Governor, NY, and Sara J. Deskiewicz of Aberdeen; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.<br> In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thaddeus Marion Deskiewicz; and two sons, Douglas M. and William J. Deskiewicz.<br> Service will be August 4 at 11 AM at Grove Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen.<br> Contributions may be made to Grove Presbyterian Church, Continuing the Vision, 50 E.
