James M. Rimel

James Miller Rimel of Aberdeen died Sept. 22 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was 78. born in Bacova, Va., he was the son of the late John Lawrence and Hattie May Cassell-Rimel. He was an artillery tester with the Civil Service at Aberdeen Proving Ground and a veteran of the Army, having served in the Korean War. He enjoyed gardening. Mr. Rimel is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beulah Grace Reed-Rimel; his son, James Miller Rimel Jr. of St. Augustine, FL; two duaghters, Linda Lee Fifield of Orange Park, Fl.; and Kimberly Reed Rimel of Red Lion, PA; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Lawrence Rimel Jr. of Perryman. He was predeceased by two brothers, Norval Rimel and Lawrence M. Rimel; and tree sisters, Betty Jo Deland, America Elizabeth Martim and Dollie Miller. Graveside services will be today (Sept. 27 ) at 1 PM at Harford Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ed Heydt offciating. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens.
