John Delano Coffman

John D. Coffman of Aberdeen died Oct. 16 at his home. He was 62. Born in Lansing, WV, he was the son of the late John E. and Wanda Lee (Goodson) Coffman. A painter by trade, he also worked in maintenance at the Day's Inn. He served in the US Army from 1964-1966. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Margaret L. Tincher Coffman; daughters Marie Miller and husband Clarence and Bonnie Coffman her and fiance, Russell; grandchildren Jessica Watkins, Ira Moon IV , Janette Alexander, Terry Shuler, Jr., Heather Blevins, Tyler Blevins, Rylee Eastridge; a brother Paul Coffman; and sisters Norma Bengel and Barbara Bennett. Gravesides services will be at 2:00pm on Oct. 28 in the Tincher Family Cemetery on Big Sewell Mountain.
