Mary Louise Pyle-Ruff

Mary Louise Pyle-Ruff of Aberdeen died Friday, February 16th at home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 68. Born October 27, 1938 in Aberdeen," Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth T. and May Roebuck-Crossley. Following graduation from Aberdeen High School in 1956, she worked as a secretary at Aberdeen Proving Ground. She also worked at Maryland Redi-Mix and Citizen's Nursing home before retiring. She was a fun loving mother, grandmother and aunt and was instantly loved by all who met her. Mrs. Ruff is survived by her two children from her first husband, Lejeune R. Pyle of Bel Air - son, Robert Pyle and his wife, Mary Ann of Boulder, Colorado, daughter, Sandra Watson and her husband, Cris, of Aberdeen, sister, Betty Umbarger and her husband, George, aunt, Hazel Roebuck, all oj Aberdeen; grandchildren, Lindsay and Robert Cox ofPerryville, Alex Watson of Aberdeen, Matthew & Dylan Pyle of Boulder, Co., Jordan and Cameron Thacker, Michael Ruff of Delta, Pa., step-children, Sandra Thacker, Cindy Hush, Shirl Kling, Kenny Ruff and their spouses, all of Delta, Pa., Linda Ruff of Portland, Ct., along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ruff was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Ruff. Mrs. Ruffwas a member ofMt. Nebo United Methodist Church, Delta, Pa. Viewing will be Thursday, February 22nd, 7pm-9pm an4 service will be Friday, Feb. 23rd, lOAM at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home. The Rev. Catherine Boileau will be officiating. Interment will be at Harford Memoria: Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mark Hush, Joe Kling, Kenny Ruff, Chuck Thacker, Keith Umbarger and Kurt Umbarger. Honorary pallbearers will be Phil Ahmed, Bernie Cox and Manuel Holmes.
