Kathleen Faye Serfinski

Kathleen Faye Serfinski of Aberdeen died Nov. 5 at Harford Memorial Hospital. She was 82. Mrs Serfinski was born in Lansing, NC, a daughter of the late J. Curtis and Amanda (Brooks) Gambill. She was formerly a hairdresser at Victors Beauty Salon in Aberdeen. She was a dedicated member of over 30 yrs. of Volunteer Services at Harford Memorial Hospital, Aberdeen Senior Center, St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, and she loved bowling. Mrs. Serfinski is survived by a son, Walter J. Serfinski of Aberdeen; a daughter, Judy K. Bolen of Aberdeen; a grandchild, Cortny M. Bolen of Sandy, Utah; brothers, Bill Gambill of Elkton, and Richard Gambill of Colora; sisters, Doris Thomas of Rising Sun, Marie Smith of Dade City, FL, and Lorraine Allred of Colora. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Walter J. Serfinski. Memorial services will be Saturday Dec. 1 at 11:00a.m. at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. Visitation 10-11a.m. prior to the service. Interment in Bel Air Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, 500 Upper Chesapeake Dr., Bel Air, MD 21014.
