Obituary
Wayne Regan Childress of Level and formerly of Conowingo passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Citizens Care Center. He was 92.
Born on November 5, 1931 in Hickory, NC he was the son of the late Fred N. and Lucy (Reep) Childress.
After graduating from Havre de Grace High School, he enlisted in the US Navy where he served during the Korean War. A member of the American Legion Mason Dixon Post 194 he enjoyed all kinds of sports, especially watching both the Orioles and Ravens, he also liked to fish.
He is survived by his companion, Betty Knight. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers; Ned, Ray and Paul Childress.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:00am at Harford Memorial Gardens.
