J. Grafton Osborn

My sincere condolences to Jim and the rest of Mr. Osborn's family. After reading the obituary, it is easy to see where the interpersonal skills, business acumen and drive that we see in Jim had originated. Our prayers are with Mr. Osborn.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your father. I have fond memories of visiting with your family in Aberdeen when I was growing up. I am so glad that I was able to visit with your father over the past 5 years on several occasions. Our family will miss him. Sincerely, Robin Swope and family

Mr. Osborn and my grandfather were fraternity brothers at the University of Maryland and remained friends throughout the rest of their lives. Although I only met him a handful of times, I feel honored because he was a truly wonderful man.

without question, every time i would see Grafton he was full of smiles, friendly and quite the gentleman...he was a figure of what goodness and correctness were..he reminded me of days gone by when older gentlemen stopped to talk to youngsters, and offer advice whenever they could. He set the mark for that kind of man.
