Barbara Julia Kahler

Barbara Julia Kahler of Edgewood died Feb. 15 at Manor Care in Baltimore. She was 62. Born in Harford County , she was a daughter of the late George Adam and Mathlida Bertha Goldsmith Kahler. Ms. Kahler worked at a day care center at the former Edgewood Arsenal. She was a daughter of a serviceman, loved working with children, had lots of friends, enjoyed church, loved visiting on the phone with friends and was a supporter of animal rights. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her life partner, Dodie Edward. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 5 on Feb. 22 at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home in Aberdeen. Services will be at 4 p.m. Feb. 22 at the funeral home with Rev. Harold Hubble officiating. Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air at a later date.
