Chip, Mike, David and families, My deepest sympathy on the passing of your wonderful father. He was a truly caring man, who always had a great smile and a hearty greeting from "across the road". I cherish the memories of him from my childhood and am honored to have known such a great man. Bart Bodt

Chip, Mike, and David. I know what the loss of a father is like. I pray for comfort and peace for each of you. I share your loss and will always remember your Dad's big smile and hearty laugh. You each are truely blessed to have had a loving father like Max. He truely loved each of you. I will forever hold his memory close to my heart.

Dear Chip, Mike and David, Plase accept my deepest sympathies at the passing of your beloved father. He deeply loved and was very proud of each of you and your families. It was pure joy for him to be with Maddie, his dear granddaughter. Max had a very positive outlook. He always brought peace and good cheer along with him. I sincerely appreciated his kind neighborliness. Max seemed to be a man of faith. I hope that shared faith will sustain you now. He appreciated that each of you shared his life every day. I hope that the rich well of memories that you created together will comfort you.

Max and I were good friends all through High School and it was great to see him at the 50th Reunion. We talked about some of the good times we had together at school and the visits to Tranquility. At the reunion, we talked about a visit with him this coming fall or early next spring. I am deeply saddened by his passing and I will miss him. Sincerely, Tommy Clayton
