David Alvin Phillips

David Alvin Phillips of Bel Air, died February 9 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. He was 58. Born in Baltimore he was the son of Maryann (Rudisill) Phillips and the late Alvin A. Phillips. Mr. Phillips had worked for over 25 yrs. for Crown, Cork, and Seal as a truck driver. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister Donna L. Wirtanen and her husband Rev. Neale Wirtanen and two nieces. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 20 from 12-1pm at Smith's Chapel United Methodist Church, 3109 Churchville Rd., Churchville, MD 21028. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Paul Papp will begin at 1pm.
