Obituary
Denice K. Goodpasture, age 43 of Aberdeen passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2009. Beloved daughter of William and Laura Goodpasture of Aberdeen. Loving sister of William Goodpasture, Jr. and wife Lori of Austin, TX, Samantha Barney and husband Kenneth of Roundrock, TX and Karen Goodpasture of Aberdeen. Cherished aunt of Lucas and Meredith Barney of Roundrock, TX. Also survived by grandmother Katherine Woodruff of NY, foster-grandmother Phyllis Garrett of VA, and many cousins. Denice was a Special Olympian competing in swimming and bowling. She was an avid bowler, loved horseback riding and was a 1987 graduate of the John Archer School. The 3 things Denice enjoyed the most in life were horses, automobiles and music.
The family will receive friends in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A., 333 S. Parke St, Aberdeen on Sunday, August 16 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Harold L. Hubble will be celebrated on Monday, August 17 at 12:30 pm.
