Clark was a wonderful, loving person. Although he was my "great uncle" I grew very close to him after the death of my dad (Yokley Blevins) He looked and reminded me of dad. And when I was with Clark, I felt I was in the presence of my dad again. Clark became my 'grandad' and he and Minerva allowed me to refer to them as Grandpa and Grandma since my loving grandparents have gone on. I have heard nothing but good about Clark as long as I can remember. How he had such a loving, caring heart and he welcome everyone into his home. The last time we were with him in June as were leaving to drive back to VA, he said 'come here and let me kiss you' and I bent down to his bed and he kissed me and said , 'I love you' and hurry back to see me" as a tear streamed down his cheek. Grandpa I will hurry to see you soon, I will see you again in Heaven. So you be waiting along with dad, mommal, popaw, David, Ruth and all the others. Our loss here on earth is Heaven's gain. WE LOVE YOU

Such beautiful memories of Uncle Clark: Cassie's 1st memories is sitting in front of the TV w/ him playing Duck Hunt, shooting Ducks & having the Dog laughing if you missed! And she can't forget Poncho! ~ His pound cakes & pop-corn w/ pecans, his plants (I used to accuse he & mom of playing in the dirt when they went up to "the old home place"!), his laughter, his squirrels, sitting around the dinning room table listening to his jokes & stories, (I still have the 1 I wrote in college of his "war days") how excited we all were at he & Aunt Nervie's visits (I still have all my gifts from their camping trips!)~ You were loved & respected my many. We will miss you, Uncle Clark. ~ Love, Walt, Betty, & Cassie
