Obituary
June Inez Green of Aberdeen died Sunday, October 25 at Harford Memorial Hospital. She was 78.
Born in Blackwater, VA she was the daughter of the late Holt and Ruby (Fraley) Bledsoe. Her husband Clifford "Junior" Green, Jr. passed away in October 1965.
Until her death Mrs. Green was employed for over 23 years as the secretary at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. Prior to that she had worked for 21 years at the former Bata Shoe Company. She attended Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons; Dr. Edward W. Green and wife Linda of Chattanooga, TN and Larry A. Green and wife Lisa of Aberdeen; her grandson Rev. Brooks A. Green and wife Roseanne of Chattanooga, TN.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by five brothers and one sister.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28 from 2-4 and 6-9pm at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. and again on Thursday, October 29 from 10-11am at Oak Grove Baptist Church where funeral services conducted by her grandson will begin at 11:00am. Interment will be on Friday, October 30 at 11:00am at Fairfield Union Cemetery, Fairfield, PA.
