Eva will always hold a very dear place in my heart. I was saddened to hear of her passing. For me, she was not only a friend, but a mentor. Her enthusiasm for getting out there every day and making the most of the most, whether it was tennis, skiing, bridge or swimming in "her pond" was, to say the least, inspiring. I will miss her.

Eva was our aunt and we will of course miss her very much. Last time we saw her was 2006 in april. She always talked about us coming back to see her, but there is a long way from Sweden. The only relatives she had left was her son Keneth and me, Lisbeth and my brother Peter. As far as we know there was no stepson, then we would had known it.

Eva was my husband's mother and my mother-in-law. She came to visit in 2006, and phoned 2 to 3 times a month until she had a stroke, then all communications were stopped a year ago. We are devastated upon hearing of her passing after the funeral. She has no step son. Her niece and nephew were not notified as well. This is all very sad. We will miss her. It is even sadder that on her death certificate, this WWII survivor from Austria, who fled from the Nazi's in 1938, has her parents listed as "unknown".
