My memories of Ruby go back to the 60's and the "Souls of Briton" band. Even though I was in a competing Band of my own, we were all treated as friends. May she rest in peace.

Ruby Bartlett had a positive impact on many people beyond her family, especially her "band-sons." As a member of the "Souls of Britton" and originally "The Tradewinds," I was fortunate to witness the unconditional love Ruby had for her family and their friends. As our band manager, record producer and chauffeur, Ruby did everything possible to help us have a successful band experience and be the best we could. She even drove us to Baltimore to select band outfits and present ourselves in a proper manner. We owe much of our growth as musicians and as human beings to her guidance and influence. Ruby was the best "Band Mom" ever! Thank you, Ruby.

Aunt Ruby, Remembering a wonderful Aunt. I so vividly remember our trip when I gave you a ride back from Ocean City. We talked about so many things on that trip but what I've remembered most was your sharing of your life stories, your advice and encouragement to a [then] young man. I realized that you truly were a great person, someone's blood I'm grateful to have running through my viens, as family. You were so gracious to host our going away party when we moved south 12 years ago. When you and uncle Bart had tears in your eyes saying how our daughter Madison looked like an angel lying there sleeping in your living room, it touched us deeply. Lynn and I have often said we hope we can love each other like Ruby and Bart had for so many years and with your advice, we have. Rest in peace Aunt Ruby, hand in hand with Uncle bart once again. Your nephew Carlton, wife Lynn and children Madison & Garrison Ball
