Obituary
Julia T. Frazer, age 85, died peacefully at her home in Aberdeen on January 6, 2010 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born May 24, 1924 in Port Carbon, PA to Andrew and Justina Tebin, Julia was the second youngest of 11 children. Her parents and oldest
siblings immigrated to America from Russia around 1910. After high school Julia supported the war effort in civilian jobs; first at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and then at the Indiantown Gap Military Reservation in PA. She was the wife of the late William Richard Frazer, who she met at Indiantown Gap in 1944 and married in 1946. After WWlI, Bill and Julie moved to Harford County where they worked, raised a family and eventually retired from the Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Julia was active in St. Albans Anglican Church, serving on the altar guild for many years. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling with her husband of 43 years. She was a wonderful
mother and grandmother and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, neighbors and close friends. She was an avid swimmer and walker and could often be seen at Harford Community College with her friends in the pool. She walked every day when she was able with her neighbor.
Mrs. Frazer is survived by her son, William C. Frazer and wife Sharon Kay and her daughter, Linda Sue Mauzy and husband Douglas all of Aberdeen MD. She also has two sisters, Sophia Tohill of Port Carbon, PA and Katherine Rowcotsky of Trenton, NJ. Julia has five grandsons, William and Andrew Frazer and Dylan, Ethan, and Travis Mauzy. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters; Walter Tebin of Kearney NJ, Helen Corbett and Martha Stancavage of Phoenixville, PA, Mary Uranium and John Tebin of Port Carbon, PA, Anna Mistysyn of Throop, PA and Michael Tebin of Havre de Grace, MD
