Obituary
Shirley Jane Evans of Aberdeen died Tuesday, April 27 at Harford Memorial Hospital. She was 79.
Born in New Castle, PA she was the daughter of the late Lee Davids and Irene (Jones) Hebner and wife of the late Gus Evans. Mrs. Evans retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground as a supply clerk. She was a member of the Aberdeen Golden Age Club, enjoyed watching TV and was a cat lover.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her sons; David Juchniewicz and wife Terri of Perryville and Lee Juchniewicz and wife Anita of Winter Haven, FL; daughters, Sherry Hedrick of Havre de Grace, Linda Salo of Meza, AZ, Karin Himes and husband James of Aberdeen, and Valerie Carruthers and husband Lynn of Beecher City, IL; 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May, 3 from 11-1pm at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home. Interment will be in Angel Hill Cemetery.
