Patricia Ann Cherry

Patricia Ann Cherry of Aberdeen died Thursday, April 22 at her home. She was 75. Born in Pottsville, PA she was the daughter of the late William J. and Margaret (Walsh) Lindes. She was a housewife and member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Mrs. Cherry is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert E. Cherry; sons, Robert Cherry and wife Darla of Tucson, AZ, Thomas Cherry and wife Mary of Havre de Grace, and Stephen Cherry and wife Linda of Newark, DE; daughters, Laura Jones and husband Steve of Abingdon, Sharon Leydecker and husband Chuck of Havre de Grace, Patricia Hale and husband Peter of Euwa Beach, Hawaii, and Bridget O'Neill and husband Sean of BelAir; brothers, Robert Lindes of Bethany Beach, DE and James Lindes of Bear, DE; sisters Peggy Deal and Ellen Glassman both of Aberdeen and Kathleen Michaels of Baltimore. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother, William Lindes. A memorial mass and visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 27 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 257 S. Law St., Aberdeen, MD 21001. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery on June 1 at 3pm.
