Leona E. Dorbert

Leona Evelyn Dorbert of Havre de Grace died Monday, May 31 at her home. She was 56. Born in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late Elmer Frank and May Catherine (Greaver) Ulbig. Mrs. Dorbert was a Harford County school bus driver for over 25 years. She was a member of Level Volunteer Fire Company for over 23 years. She served with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Level Volunteer Fire Company for over 20 years were she served a past vice president and secretary. Mrs. Dorbert also loved to bake and sew. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, George W. Dorbert, Sr. of Havre de Grace; her son George Dorbert, Jr. and his wife Linda of Whiteford; her daughter, Jennifer Burgess of Havre de Grace: two granddaughters, Alayna and Carly Dorbert both of Whiteford; brother, John Surguy of Baltimore; and her sisters, May Martin of Hughesville, MD, Eileen Kanely of New Park, PA, and Nancy Friskey of Rosedale, MD A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on Friday, June 4th from 2-4 and 7-9pm with a funeral service conducted by Pastor Lonna Smith and Sandra Gallion to begin at 7:00pm Contributions in her memory may be made to the Susan G.
