I miss you PopPop J. I miss your jokes, your smile, your silliness. I miss you altogether. I love you dearly Pop; please remember that. I wish you could hear, see, & feel the things we say & do when Madelyn K. & I talk about you. I think you would have been a good person for her to talk to after Nick (her father) passed away. I think that, even if your words were short & to the point, they would have stuck & meant something; they always did with me. I'll be sure to pass on your advice in hopes that Madelyn K. will, too. I will also be VERY sure to pass on your jokes because they were classic & always had us laughing. I am still in disbelief that you acted as silly as ever, when your health was steady failing and you were either in the hospital or "ill" at home. It amazed me at how incredibly strong you were physically & mentally. I will always look up to you Pop, I will always think of you as my hero & I will always be grateful that MomMom met you & YOU assumed the role of Grandfather to us. You were phenomenal. I couldn't have asked for a better person to fill the those shoes. Thank you PopPop John! I love you so much & Madelyn & I miss you a lot. We'll keep your memory alive.
