Robert Merle Kramp, Sr.

Robert Merle Kramp, Sr. of Aberdeen died Friday, July 23 at Harford Memorial Hospital. He was 73. Born in Ramey, PA he was the son of the late Richard O. C. and Bertha L. (Fox) Kramp. Mr. Kramp served in the US Army for over 24 years, serving tours in Germany, Korea, and Vietnam, during which time he received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Award Medal. He also enjoyed camping, traveling and NASCAR He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carole M. (Pusey) Kramp; sons, Richard R.G. Kramp and wife Colleen of Minot, ND, Robert M. Kramp, Jr. and wife Karen of Ft. Worth, TX, Douglas B. Kramp of Conway, SC, and Keith E. Kramp and his wife Tammy of North East; five grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua, and Tatyana Kramp and Justin and Arianna Bowden; and one great granddaughter, Arianne Kramp. A visitation was held on Tuesday, July 27th at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home with funeral services conducted by Rev. Ed Heydt being held on Wednesday, July 28.
