Shirley Young

Shirley L. Young, age 76, died Monday, July 19, 2010 after a short illness at her home in Aberdeen. She was born in Portland, Maine on January 8, 1934. She was the daughter of Clarence and Beatrice (Cargil) Beasley. She enjoyed bowling, playing yahtze, traveling and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Theodore M. Young in March of this year and a daughter Julie A. Young in 2009. She is survived by a son Mark Young and his wife Susan of Freemont, CA; daughters, Pam Murphy and her husband Phill of Perryville, Carol Young of Tracy, CA, Betty Davis of Aberdeen and Barbara Young of Oakland, CA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, to include Lindsey Rae Young of Aberdeen, Mike Murphy of Joppatown and Karen Murphy formerly of Aberdeen. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
