Mary Maust

Mary Barlow Maust, age 102, formerly of Wilmington, DE died Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Lorien-Riverside in Belcamp, MD. Daughter of the late George William and Ella Jane Hamby. Predeceased by brother John Hamby and sisters Carrie Hall and Helen Farmer. Survived by niece Marlene Bergerson of Aberdeen; Great-nieces Nancy Roach of Street, Sandy Bent of Churchville, Elizabeth Caudill-Ryan of Frederick and their families . She is also survived by family members of her late husband Leonard Maust. She was a homemaker and active lifetime member of Calvary Methodist Church in Wilmington, DE and it's woman's society. Mary loved gardening and tending to her yard. After attending Business School in Wilmington, DE, she married and made Wilmington, DE her home for over 70 years. The family will receive friends in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. of Aberdeen on Saturday, August 7 from 12:15-1:00pm at which time a funeral service officiated by Dr. Robert T. Clipp will begin. Interment will be in Calvary Methodist Cemetery in Churchville. Pallbearers will be Ray Bent, Jason Bent, Bill Roach, Matthew Canon, Keith Roach and Henry Forbes.
