We are deeply grieved at the news of Joshua's passing. He was such a sweet boy and a good friend to our son, Christopher when they were young boys. My most precious memory of Josh is when he saved my life! We were vacationing at Ocracoke Island with the Lutz's and I was in the ocean on a boogie board, drifting outward and my feet couldn't touch the seabed. I called to my husband to help and he didn't hear me, but Josh did! And Josh called to Tom, "Mr. Tom, Mr. Tom...Miss Linda need your help!" And Tom swam to bring me in from the deep water. Without Josh there that day, I may have drowned. I will forever be grateful to Josh. We will miss him dearly. In Christ, Linda, Tom & Christopher
