I loved seeing Walter's smile and knowing facial expressions during my daily visits. He seemed to stand a bit taller when Katie at Brightview helped him get dressed in his white shoes. He was a gentleman, always. Peace to you all, Phil and Sheila Bohrman

Walter was a humble, generous and kind person always willing to extend his hand to help another. He spoke only kind words about people and he always had a "sunshine" attitude. He was a gentleman, a caring person and a good friend. He set the example of how to live life. My life is fuller and richer having known him. Thank you Walter.

It was my good fortune to have Walt as my flight instructor and Jim as my automotive student. Walt was always relaxed and confident. The don't come any better. Great guy!

Thanks to Walt I was able to complete my flight training at Aldino and pass my flight test. Walt had a way of making you relax and "feel the wheel". I remember returning home to Aldino from Martin State the day of my flight test. It was a foggy ride. Walt was waiting for me. He had a big smile on his face and shook my hand and said "Good Job"! He was quite the man and will always be in my cloud of witnesses.

What a gentleman and one of the smoothest flight instructors I ever had the pleasure to fly with. Walt could fly a plane while he was sleeping. I was taking a commercial instrument ground school that had a simulator with instruments only (32 years ago), everybody had trouble keeping a true course but when Walt got on it the print out on the plotter was as smooth as can be. I am so glad I had the pleasure to know & fly with Mr. O'Neill. God Bless Walt and his family.
