Vergie Edella Hubble

Vergie Edella Hubble, age 92 of Aberdeen died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at home. Born in Virginia City, VA to the late Coen and Ida Wright; beloved wife of the late Lawrence K. Hubble, Sr.; cherished mother of Brenda Hubble of Aberdeen, Janet Johnson and husband Frank of Bel Air, Betty Harris and husband Ken of Virginia Beach, VA, Billy Hubble and wife Karen of Bel Air and Larry Hubble, Jr. and wife Linda of Bel Air; dear sister of Dulcina Sparks of VA and Gladys Daugherty of Aberdeen. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Vergie enjoyed bowling, sewing, craft shows, auctions, flea markets, yard sales, was a longtime member of Bible Baptist Church in Aberdeen and served in the Navy from 1942-44. Family received friends in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. of Aberdeen on Monday, January 3 followed by a service officiated by brother-in-law Rev. Harold Hubble. Interment was in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be sent to The American Cancer Society, Box 353, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
